Water cooled portable air conditioners are identical to the air-cooled models in every aspect except for the smaller physical dimensions and that its condenser uses water in lieu of air to remove the heat. Any water source such as chilled water, condenser water from a cooling tower, or even water from a garden hose attached to a spigot can make the water cooled models work for you. These units are full featured and include remote ready microcprocessor controls, thermostatic expansion valve, audible and LCD visual display alarms, auto restart, short cycle protection, high and low pressure safeties, fan control and constant pressure freeze protection, sight glass, easily accessible service ports, automatic water regulating valve, high lift internal condensate pump and a 5 gallon reservoir both with overflow protection to name a few of it's many attributes.
